As an early wedding present my sister bought FI and I two precious Bengal/Manx mix kittens. They are only 4 weeks old right now, so I won''t be taking them home for another month! The wait is going to be killer.

The tan/slightly orange and black one is a girl. She is sooo sweet and cuddly. Their coat is in the "fluffy" stage so you can''t see their markings very well right now, but both mom and dad have stunning markings!

The orange and white one is a boy. He''s big and has a bit more spunk than his sister. They both have a short tail. I can''t wait to take them home in a month, but in the meantime I am seriously at a loss for names. Help!

Here is the boy...

Omg, so cute!

I say Conan for the boy

and Coco for the girl.

They''re adorable!

My instant reaction to the boy is Arthur or Oliver. I don''t know why.

The girl looks like a Sophia to me.

I like human names for pets though.

So CUTE!!!!

oliver & maribelle

They''re adorable, Lily! I prefer human names too. My first thought for the girl was Hannah and for the boy, I like Oliver. I''ve actually always liked Ruby too, but your kitty doesn''t look like a Ruby to me.

Ok, they''re so cute they make my heart hurt.

LOVE these names! Such cute babies.

I LOVE everyone''s suggestions!! I am going to make a list tonight to show FI and narrow it down ... I will come back with our narrowed down list and maybe ask for some more help. :-)

I am really curious to see what these kittens grow up to look like. Dad was full Bengal and mom is half Bengal half Manx. All the kittens ended up with the short manx tail, though!

I''d probably name them something cutesy and matching, i.e. after a famous pair. Some examples:

George & Gracie (like George Burns & Gracie Allen)
Fred & Ginger (Astaire and Rogers--would be perfect if the orange kitty were the girl)
Antony & Cleopatra (I like "Tony & Cleo" for short)
Desi & Lucy (needs no explanation!)
Victoria & Albert (former king and queen of England)
Ferdinand & Isabella (the former king and queen of Spain)
Tristan & Isolde (good ol'' star-crossed lovers)

I vote Cleo and Tony! :)

We''ve decided on Leo for the boy!

Still haven''t agreed on a girl''s name, though. FI is so picky when it comes to this sort of thing.

I think Tiger Lily would be awfully cute, since she''s part Bengal.
