Wedding help me find vases for centerpiece

My search for a small vase has been unsuccessful. I don''t like silver mint julep cups because it''s not quite the right shape. I''m looking for something like this:

I like the "foot"/base of the vase and the spherical shape of the bowl. I''m looking for a footed bowl/vase in silver, white, or clear glass. Each centerpiece will have two or three pillar candleholders like this, and the footed vase with large white/cream/pink roses, along with greenery.

Holler if you have any ideas! I''m hoping to spend less than $20 each.

Your best bet might be checking party and floral rental companies in your area. I know there is a large on in SF that rents out vases and things pretty reasonably. I'm sure they have them where you are too.

I like them. I like the price. You know, if you have your heart set on silver... there are some spray paints you can use on glass. If you can find one with a mercury finish type... they would end up looking like mercury glass vases which would be just fabulous. If you like that look. Otherwise, leave them as is... OR you can spray paint them with frosted glass spray paint. That stuff is so cool! You could do designs with stickers/stencils too and frost everything else. They would look amazing! Even solid frosted is cool too. A little less modern looking as well.

I will be using them with water, so maybe I will have to spray inside and then insert a plastic cup inside the vase which will hold the water/floral foam. She says the look is not as nice if you spray the outside.

What do y''all think of the color? The tablecloths will be cream colored. The pillar candles will be white. The flowers will be white, cream, green, super light blush pink (thanks to Gypsy''s advice). My accent colors are wine/plum purple and antique rose (mauve). Should I go with the silver? Or will clear glass look better? Or white? Or something else?

Oh I like that link you posted!! The look of it when you paint the inside of the vase rocks. I'm gonna have to try that for sure. If your florist lined the vase with simple saran wrap and then used oasis in each to hold the plants (or if you are DIY, then if you did) you could totally do that. I don't care for it as much when you paint the outside of the vase silver... it is flat and looks a bit plastic-ey. You would have to do multiple thin coats, as opposed to thick coats to avoid drips but its TOTALLY worth it to me. Great find CG! I'm REALLY going to have to do this. I might steal the idea and do it with copper paint for my wedding (if we don't run off to Vegas) for the cocktail hour!

Oh yeah. Johns been bribing me with hints of bling and more bling if we go to Vegas. Diamond hoop huggies from GOG, the WF bangle I want... a Jeff White mint green cushion. Even handbags. LOL. He''s been ruthless with the bribing... "honey with all the money we''d save...."
And since I''m on a self imposed shopping ban... It''s been all I could do not to strangle him.

Hmmm...sounds like John has been hindering instead of helping in this process. Same with my FI. One of my close friends from high school got engaged a few months ago and is taking a five day trip to the Dominican Republic. I''m convinced she''s going to elope and I''m so jealous. I was like, "Take advantage of the trip and ELOPE!"
