I would love some helping finding the best pair under my budget for earrings. I ordered some cz on Amazon and found that 7.5 mm diameter round brilliant would look great on my petite lobes. From my searching, this seems to be about 1.6 ct each for an ideal cut. I would LOVE to find something before the tariffs “hit”! This is my birthday present to myself this year. And I deserve it!

My specs:
Size: Approx 7.5 mm diameter/1.6 ct each
Cut: Ideal (but could go excellent)
Colorless -d, e, f (could go g)
Clarity: VVS2 (eye clean) or better
No fluorescence

I’d like to buy from somewhere online that will set it as I’m having trouble with finding a place to do it locally (Atlanta). Any online store suggestions? I’d like it set in 14k white gold 3 prong martini setting with screw or XL back (but probably screw back since I can’t see in person if the XL would be too big). It seems like I will be able to get a better price buying loose stones, price matching to somewhere that sets, and having them set them. Ritani seemed like a good option if I price matched the stones from somewhere else, but they don’t have a 3 prong martini setting. Ritani would add $350 for screw backs for their 3 prong basket setting.

Budget: $2000 (including settings) (could go a bit higher but trying not to go crazy)

Is this reasonable? It seemed like it based on my searches.

I’d love suggestions for stones from the community ( @DejaWiz ?)! I haven’t posted since I got my engagement ring back in 2009, but I’ve loved diving in again to this amazing community with a wealth of knowledge.

Do these 2 look ok? Every video I look at looks the same to me. I did put in Ideal and some other numbers I found here (although i cant see where the crown and pavilion angle #s are on any certificates).

The material in your first stone isn't great. I'm not crazy about the cut on your second, and I wonder if someone is wearing yellow bc it looks rather warm to be an F.

However, I've been away of a while, and I don't have the best eyes anymore. Maybe someone will find you a nice pair. Granted, prices have shot up this past week bc of India tariffs.
