Hi all,

First message on the forum, hope I won't be too much of a hassle :)

Here's the drill.
I am in the search of the perfect engagement ring. My budget is around the $2,250 mark (duties incl) and need the ring fairly soon (by friday 06 jan at the latest...).

In terms of setting, I love the simplest solitaire setting possible with 6 prones. Noting fancy. Just sleek, simple and classic. 18 ct white gold.
I have looked at whiteflash, jamesallen and bluenile, and it seemed that only bluenile carries what I am after? Can anyone advise?

See below the setting that I like.

I have also selected the below diamond, for its signature cut, color (would like F to D), clarity (want VS2+) and excellent polish and symmetry.
Does it seem a good choice or could I get a better value for my money? Any advise/comment would be very appreciated :)

Last but not least... What is your experience with processing/delivery times from Blue Nile? Are they reliable?

Any discount/coupon I could get thanks to PS?

Thanks heaps for your help!
Lili

Livingsocial is running a $200 for $100 on jewelry from BlueNile for their CyberMonday deals. It ends tonight.

I think both are pretty good, If you would like down to GVS2, could get bigger size.
