Help me find an Asscher cut ring please!

Yeah, this is an example of the style setting I am looking for. The only issue I have with that one is that it has has the bigger diamonds ( please excuse the simple terms) on the shanks and halo. I def like the smaller ones much more. :D
 
Well, that style allows the band to sit close to the engagement ring whereas the one you originally posted had that large base. The latest one you posted had a smaller base, but the cathedral sides going up to the halo were just not attractive like Gypsy's. I really think you need to decide where you're going to get the setting before you buy a diamond because even if you are now aiming for New Year's Eve, I think you'll have a better chance if you get the diamond and setting from the same jeweler.

Another jeweler to call would be Engagement Rings Direct, because they make really nice halo settings.
 
The .99 G VVS1 is really awesome, I do not think the second stone you have on JA will be as good.

You're not going with the Ritani anymore? I wouldn't worry about a new year's engagement... with shipping, you have only two weeks.

ETA: I finally saw the part where the Ritani is no longer an option.

This thread is getting so long, I cannot keep up with it all.

If you want that one but with smaller "melee" (which, oddly, rhymes with belly) this one is...exactly(?) the same but really thin and delicate http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/pave/platinum-pave-halo-and-shank-diamond-engagement-ring-17308p.html

IDK if they do it in asscher, there is a princess and cushion version, but no asscher.
 
For the record my setting, with diamonds down the shank is available from Steven Kirsch for around 4200. Top quality.

1) congrats, I have been waiting for your update. :wavey: Gorgeous asscher, nice brightness to it.

2) in the picture, the center diamond looks askew with respect to the setting. If it is just the photography/lighting, ignore me!

Yep! Gave the ring to her a few days before Christmas. She was ecstatic. She was happily surprised because she had yet to find one that she liked in the stores, yet somehow I managed to get one that she loved! I owe it to the people who helped me out in this thread!
