I've been dreaming of a 3 stone ring for a while and finally got the husband on board. My ideal would have a 1.75-2.0 carat center and 1 carat on each side (I have 2 daughters and would like to pass on a 1 carat stone to each of them). The stones are not the problem...I can always find them...it's the setting. My ering is a RB with channel set princess stones. I'd like a different look with this project, but still want to stick with RBs. Because I plan to pass the sidestones to my kids, I think a classic RB is the best choice.
That said, because my ering is a RB (and I'll be keeping it), I'd like a very different look in this 3-stone while maintaining the popular/ classic aspect of the RB. I'm not crazy about halos, but could be convinced to go that route because I think that a halo can give me the different look I'm shooting for. I think that a square halo could be the best of both worlds for me...it could give me a squared off look with the use of RBs. The closest thing I've found is this from Tacori:

I think it's drop dead gorgeous, but a bit pricey and a very busy considering the size of the stones I'm planning on as well as my lifestyle/taste. Have any of you come across something similar, or any three-stone setting that can bring a unique/squared look to RBs?
Thank you!
