hi all --while i decided that i would pony up for a band i want from Tiffany & Co..(actually i want three......2 platinum and one 18k but it will be a while) the price seems obscene. pleaseread the details and let me know where i can get the EXACT same thing without the T & co stamp and blue box..................

FROM THE T & CO WEBSITE:
Channel-set band ring, full-circle. Baguette diamonds, carat total weight 1.98 (size 6.5), color grade G, clarity grade VS; platinum. 3mm.
$7,425

that vague description sounds like alot of rings...do you have an image?

if you want the EXACT same thing, buy it from Tiffany's!

Hmmm, check out www.signedpieces.com Not sure from your desciption, but they come close to what you may be looking for and cost a lot less.

Ws,
I bought my eternty band from them, it''s 3.38 tw. I was going for a big look. I paid 5K for mine and got a great deal. Their prices have gone up, but still no one can touch their quality. You should go by their booth and try some on.

kaleigh--do you feel the quality is solid? tiffany''s are finished so beautifully...............its probably psychological

I have a 12 stone band from Tiff's as well as my ering. I know quality when I see it. I was a little skeptical, so I paid them a visit this past January. I saw the quality of the stones, they are ideal or premium cuts. I was not pressured in any way. I had to order my ring as they didn't have my size in stock. I was so pleased with it, I even bought my diamond studs from them as well.

thanks Kaleigh!

is this it?
Are you going to match this up with your huge emerald cut ring?

I have to agree with this as well. I have a few pieces and the quality of the pieces are amazing.
I am a little anal when it comes to these things and I loupe everything! I find flaws where no one else would or would care about!

I have two platinum bands, one channel set diamond wedding band. my anniversary band and my husband has a platinum band.

There is no porosity, perfect prongs, all of them are exactly alike and even, and the diamonds have tiny H&A''s.
I also had to have a few rings (four all together) sized by them and you can not even tell where the sizing was done.
That happens to be a pet peeve of mine by the way, when I have had other people resize my other rings, either the band comes out thinner or after a while the area that was sized develops a crack or has bubbles, so you know exactly where it was done.

It will cost you a fortune, though.

Kayla -- just a little confused. Are referring to Tiffany quality or Signed Pieces quality??

Kaleigh -

Do you have a picture of your SP band on your hand by itself? Would LOVE to see it!

Nan has my pics. When she gets home I''ll see if she can dig one up for you MGR!!

Thanks - I''d love to see it by itself. It looks fantastic in your avatar!

hey mgr, here are some pics of kaleigh''s sp eternity. it''s not by itself, but i think these pics show it quite well.

Thanks Belle - I appreciate it. I''m trying to decide if the SP band would be wide enough to wear as a RHR. I know many folks wear all sizes of eternity bands as RHR''s but I am looking for something with some width - hence the question about stacking two of them. Course, in doing that, you might run the risk of them scratching each other like Dem did. Maybe their five stone version - not an eternity ring - would be a better option. The BEST thing would be to go up there and look for myself - may not happen for awhile though.

MGR,
I highly suggest you go there when you have time and try on all sorts of rings to see what would look good. That''s what I did. I was worried it might be uncomfortable and had to SEE for myself. belle, thanks for posting the pics sis.

Thanks Nan - you''re a doll!

Kaleigh that is one beautiful ring! I really like the way it looks even by itself. You are right - the easiest thing to do would be to go and try them on. I have seen so many rings that I like - in the case, etc. - and then when I put them on my hand I really don''t like the look.

Thanks again guys for giving me some size ''perspective''!

I think she means the SP quality but sizing of an eternity band costs a lot of $$. at least that''s what i thought..

Okay, I am an idiot, I was actually talking about Tiffany''s.
Signed Pieces has some great stuff too. Their prices are reasonable and they even bezel set my diamond in platinum with chain for really cheap. Under $300 , but I can''t remember the exact price.
I have to say that there was a diamond line bracelet that I almost bought from but I changed my mind because I had found a crack in the setting holding one of the diamonds. They were going to fix it, plus remove four links and make me matching earrings and ship it out to me free of charge.

I paid for it and everything, had them mark exactly where the crack was so they knew where to fix it, and then I called them the next day and told them I changed my mind.
They actually had two of the same bracelet, but the other one was more messed up although I can''t remember exactly what was wrong with it, so the one I picked was the better of the two.
I told you I am really picky.
Their diamonds are beautiful though. They showed me a batch of melee that they used still in the paper envelope. The envelope was marked e-f vvs-vs.
I was just a little worried that the diamonds would be scratching each other in the paper envelope.
