Hi, I''m on the search for the perfect setting since I know I can find the perfect diamond by going to GOG when the time comes. The diamond will be a RB about .7 ct, probably H SI1. This puts the diamond price around 2500. I love the Mark Morrell sunburst, new flame-sunburst hybrid, and LM settings, but I think an $1800 setting is a little out of proportion to the diamond. I also love the classic Tiffany RB setting, but can''t bare to waste money on a poorer performing diamond. The other look I like is in a Nikawa setting in which the shank gets thinner as it gets closer to the diamond. I guess I''ll be going with white gold. I like the WF Elaineh inspired setting, except I''m worried that the prong width is a little thick for the smaller diamond, although huge pictures might be deceiving. The supercert palladium setting is only 550, but some of the pictures online look a little strange. Any suggestions, advice, or pictures for a good setting for a smaller than typical on PS diamond? You''re all the best. I love looking around at all the great eyecandy.
