Hey all,
as some of you may know I have only just recently received my PoH right hand ring from GOG. I adore it, but now I have a serious problem - I''ve got the ideal cut diamond bug!!
Upgrading my ering was something I had always thought I''d "eventually" do, but having fallen in love with ideal stones and PS in general, I''m thinking about doing it alot sooner..
I currently have a 3stone RB ring that comes to about 0.75tcw and I''ve always loved it, but the stones aren''t ideal...and it has been a number of years!
I would Love anybody''s help in finding a fantastic RB. I would like to "break" the 1ct mark, but only where it starts making a difference, if that makes sense? From the recent thread comparing different sizes, to me it seems to be around 1.2,1.3+ before you can really see any change from a 1ct..? I can''t afford up to 1.5,
so just anywhere 1ct plus will be great.
My "sweet spot" is H/I Si1, but I''d be comfortable down to a J. It''d be Fantastic to find a truely eyeclean Si2 to max the size!!
The ones I''ve been looking at in this range seem to run about 5-6k, so this will be the budget, but of course less is better as need a new setting too..
Apart from that, I don''t really have any preferences as far as the angles etc. as I haven''t learnt enough yet to really make a great choice based on the numbers. I''m just trusting you guys to help me find a kicken'' stone!
Here are a couple from GOG site as an example of the "flavour" that appeals to me more though - the "fatter" silvery arrows, rather than the skinnier black ones. However i understand this is mainly just photography (?) and have no idea how it translates in real life to performance, so I''m open to all suggestions..

Having established a r''ship with Jon, I would probably prefer to buy there again, but I''m still open to ideas from other vendors with great reps.
Thanks in advance anyone who takes time to help me!
cheers
