I was searching James Allen before and waited too long and lost my stones. Okay so I am in need of a round, eye clean VS2-SI2, an ideal cut and somewhere over .75ct from what i''ve been seeing its around .82ish and from what I have been reading around a H o I in color.

thanks in advance

Okay I requested everything....Is the thin-med girdle okay? Also when I look at the actual diamond image I can see black spots in it. Does this mean it is not eye clean?

nah, remember that the image is a huge magnification, and then when you use their "loupe" tool.. it magnifies it even more. They are a reputable vendor and will honestly tell you if it is eye clean

I like that diamond also, so +1

Thin to medium girdle is fine. It's desirable.

Here is another one to consider if you are worried about clarity. 0.81ct I VS1

This immediately came to mind (it''s about 100 dollars over your budget):

I seriously considered this before I found my 1.21 at a great price. I talked to someone at good old gold and they said that a prong can cover most of the inclusion so that it isn''t really visible. If I was not able to expand my budget, I would have bought that instead. Three ''very highs'' on a gemex report and an ags 000 .9ct H for 2700-sounds good to me!

I waited too long and my H&A one is gone. Anything else out there? Should I try a few SI1''s and see if they can check if they are eye clean? Still looking for ideal or H&A (don''t know if its worth the money being that I don’t have too much to spend) around .8 and an H.

Thanks for the help so far next time I wont wait as long

Did JA tell you it was sold or are you basing that off the "Diamond no longer available" on the website? If you requested the Hearts image, JA will mark the diamond that way in order to hold it for you until the images are done and sent to you for evaluation.

If it is really sold, we will help you find another one that is suitable.

no they told me it was sold....

bummer, ill do some searches for you. see if i find anything

Sorry to hear that. What about the ones that Ellen and swingirl suggested? Both are very well cut and are still available.

Okay last few questions....
So is it worth it and will I notice it TrueHearts vs Ideal on around a .8ct diamond?
Also I''m getting a bit worried on getting a I and am leaning a bit more towards H is this valid?

About the H&A vs Ideal cuts, still debatable, some says yes some say no. For sure you will not be able to see the Hearts image once the stone is mounted.

H/I, depends on you. Most likely not for a well cut stone face up, especially for someone such as me who is not color sensitive at all.

It depends on the proportions, when comparing a h&a to a non h&a with excellent proportions you might not notice much if any difference, depends on the optical symmetry of the non h&a diamond whether you will see any arrow patterning or not.

An I colour will still be extremely white, if you are unsure compare some similar size and colour/ lab graded diamonds in person such as Hearts on Fire or Jareds Peerless to see where your colour preferences lie.
