I think I''ve decided that I want to stack one tiny (1-2 mm...closer to the smaller end preferable) eternity band on either side of my platinum e-ring.

Pre-owned is ideal due to price. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would suggest trying ebay. I don''t think Pearlman''s has anything like you are wanting in their PO section right now. They do have a daniel k band in their closeout section but it''s $1200. I do want to caution you that 1-2mm is very thin for a pave ring. many jewelers won''t even make them that thin b/c their just isn''t enough metal to keep the stone secure. pave rings can lose stones pretty easily even from the high end designers. Ritani does make their pave rings just under 2mm and they are known to be very good quality. second hand bands do pop up on ebay for them from time to time. Leon Mege is another designer that I would trust but even then you''ll have to baby the rings.

This insight is extremely helpful for me to know. I very much appreciate this response. In fact, I might decide to change my plans based on this knowledge. I tend to wear my rings at all times. Under no definition could I say that I "baby" them. Even though I do love the delicate look of the thin rings, it sounds like I should be practical and get a thicker wedding band.

I love the knowledge on this board. Thank you!

yap, from the sound of things you definitely need thicked bands.
