I am torn between two diamonds with settings, please help me decide.....

Princess Cut, almost a perfect square

Clarity: SI2 -- the GIA report only shows one feather on the bottom of the diamond, but it is table clean
Depth: about 75%
Table: about 76%
Girdle: Thin to Thick
Polish: VG
Symmetry: VG
No Flourescence
Culet: None
PRICE: $3000 with 14k white gold setting and some small diamonds on the band

Color: G
Carity: VS2
Depth: 70.5 %
Table: 72%
Girdle: Unknown
Polish: VG
Symmetry: VG
No Flourescence
Culet: Pointed
PRICE: $4020 with 18k white gold in almost same setting as previous one.

I need help from anyone who actually knows what they are talking about, thanks!!

I''ll bump this for you, but I can''t evaluate princess stones. If I look for one for somebody, I use the cut quality search tool and that narrows things down to the better stones to begin with. Plus, some vendors such as WF and GOG have pictures of the stones and they hand select them for their inventory. That''s how I prefer to buy...from a vendor who has already screened the stones.

Fancy stones can''t really be adequately evaluated by number alone, I''m afraid.

If you can get images of the stones (photos, ASETS, IS), those would go a long way toward helping us help you.
