Help me decide please!

Wlil preface this request by saying that all this is contingent on my cat's continued good health (she had her yearly and her blood test returned high calcium with could, apparently, flag something completely innocuous or, God Forbid, something serious. More tests ordered for this week).


BUT, hopefully all will be well.

SO... here are my two setting choices:

First, this halo (the one in my AV) around my 1.09 asscher. Custom setting by Quest $3550. In platinum. I like it because it will make my asscher look huge... and well, since I don't want to upgrade for sentimental reasons, this seemed like the best way to get that done. Shank would be plain platinum (1.5-2mm), so would the flush fit wedding band.

The second would be the above ( I don't know why it showed up there) Beverly K by Carl Blackburn band made to fit a head for my asscher in platinum (set like a diamond not a square to match the band pattern). Custom head fit to band by Dimend Scaasi $2200. Wedding band would be two micro pave 1.5 mm eternity bands on either side of the setting. Concerned about durability/practicality of this setting. But it's a designer band at an amazing price (was qouted almost $3000 elsewhere).

Totally different styles, I know. One sleek, art deco, and crisp. The other romantic, intricate, and busy. Both fit me-- I have both sides to my personality. And I don't know which I like better. If price was equal, I think I'd pick the Halo. But... price isn't equal.

Well, since I''ve been talking to you about the Beverly K rings, I may as well take a shot at giving you an opinion!

First of all, these two ideas are very different! I love those English Collection rings at Dimend Scassi, but I''d be hesitant to alter them. I''d just like to have one to wear alone as I don''t think they''d be good to wear 365 days a year as the primary e-ring.

Also, I have thought that if I could ever have an assher, I''d set it in something like this:

So I guess I''d vote for the halo for the asscher and get a Bev. K band for an anniversary gift like I might!

I vote the Quest halo. I''m not sure I''d alter the designer piece,nor am I sure I like that style with and asscher. Love the halo you posted and I don''t think you''d every tire of it. I''d worry the business of the beverly k piece might get old for an e-ring. I agree, add it to your anniversary/birthday/holiday wishlist.

Hmm... so what your saying is... why compromise at all? Get both. I could definitely get on board with that.
