Help me decide between these two 3/4 Carat Round brilliants

I'd appreciate any input you guys have about these two diamonds, or if you think they are both bad let me know that too. I am going to have a 14K white gold 4 Prong plain Tiffany setting, size 4 ring finger.

They are both flourescent which is what I think I want, hopefully it will whiten up the I color a bit.

BlueNile has told me that the SI1 diamond is eye clean and that the VS2 will be eye clean just because it is a VS2.


Right now I am leaning toward the 0.81 Carat because it is bigger and has strong blue flourescence (and is only $100 more), but I like that the 0.73 carat is VS2 - I know they are eye clean from the top, but maybe the VS2 will be eye clean from the side (the SI1 might also be).


1. 0.73 Carat, VS2, I Color, Excellent Cut,Excellent Symmetry, Excellent polish (Spread is almost as big as the other diamond)
Medium Blue Flourescence

They are indistinguishable by size, the dimensions are very nearly the same.

I'd go .81 I w strong blue. I think I'd prefer the depth on that one. For the $100... That would be my pick. Both seem good on paper.

I'm hoping for a few more opinions before I pull the trigger. You don't have to pick one over the other, but let me know if they both look good or if I should keep looking.

I'd take the larger with the SB fluor (I love fluor!) - plus it may face up whiter.
