Hello Everyone -

After few days of research by using pricescope resources, I think I found a couple of diamonds which I like. I am hoping someone would take a look at my choices and let me know if I am on the right track.

I am looking for a diamond with a good cut, smaller is fine as long as it looks good. I went through the diamond search tool and found a couple of AGS 0 diamonds which are within my price range.

First one is this -

Second is this

The second one does not have ideal scope Image yet, but I have requested it and will post as soon as I get it.

Am I on the right track? Can someone please let me know.

Thanks for your help.

You are definitely on the right track! I will give you a little advice, though. I like higher clarity, too. But I have found that VS1 is extremely clean...can't really even see anything using a 10x loupe. It will save you some money to go with VS1 over VVS, and it will allow you to get a little more size for your stone. I'd probably stick with F-G if I were you. I think F to I is a very big jump.

Hmm, not finding much in the .8-.99 range in F-G VS1, but here is a VS2 that is a nice value because it is almost a carat yet you avoid the price jump that happens at 1.0:

I'd buy the one Diamond Seeker linked you to. It's perfect.

Thanks everyone for your help. This site has been very helpful.

DiamondSeeker -

I put a deposit on the diamond and I will most probably end up getting it. Thanks again :)
