Since you all are such experts, I know you will help me to make a decision about what I should put some disposable income towards! I still have Christmas money, birthday money and I won $500 unexpectedly. I have been good about saving--I didn't even touch last quarter's bonus, so I feel like I deserve to use this cash on something frivolous! Can you tell I am trying to justify spending money on myself
It's not a huge amount--about $1200. My options are:
1. a tsavorite. I love the color and have had my eye on them for a while.
2. An amethyst. My birthstone, and I love stones with bright, saturated deep pink tones/flashes. If I get an amethyst I'll probably be able to afford a setting too.
3. A color change stone--garnet or amethyst. I think color change is sooo cool!
4. Save the money to put towards an eternity band. I love Singlestone, but they are pricy so I feel bad asking for one as my wedding band, but I wouldn't feel so bad if I chipped in!
5. Put it towards an old cut diamond for a pendant or a pair for earrings. I don't have diamond studs, and I have been wanting an old cut.
What do you think? Or do you have a totally different idea? I'd love to know! Thanks!!!
