Hi - I can't comment on this stone specifically as I'm in the trade and not allowed to on this forum - - but if SIZE is the most important characteristic for you, then you should considers dropping to a nice SI1-SI2 for clarity / an H-I colour / and a stone with med-strong fluorescence as you might find you can get a bit of a discount.
Playing around with these can = more carat weight
Hope this helps

I'd try to stay at a carat or above. The 1.05 at JA is okay if you don't mind that one very small black inclusion. The price is better than the local store, but you could see if they will come down in price if you tell them you have seen others that are less expensive.

Let me see if I see anything else.

There is nothing wrong with fluorescence, so I'm going to ignore that part of your specs. Medium or Faint are fine and actually desireable in a near colorless stones. All you have to do is ask the vendor to make sure the stone is not 'over blue' (and medium/faint are highly unlikely to be).

Here are the options I'd recommend:
http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.01-carat-h-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-913858 Super clean SI1. And GORGEOUS. Not to mention it's 5,600! It's actually cleaner than the VS stones below. I'd highly recommend you put this one on hold.

Should be eyeclean (ask) and it's a G color VS: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.09-carat-g-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-645735

http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.10-carat-h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-894981

Oh, I like the one DS found. I thought the budget was under 6800. My bad. If you are able to go to 7k, by all means, get the stone DS picked. Although, I REALLY like the SI1 above and think that it saves you a ton. And that you can put toward a much nicer setting.

There's also this one: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.23-carat-h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-636465 which gets you to just shy of 7mm!

Since you said that size was the most important factor. And I think it's going to be eyeclean. I think this one is a NICE stone for you.

And there is this one as well: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.23-carat-h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-739826 if you want to maximize your budget.

I like this one better than the one you first posted. It appears a little cleaner and the diameter is a tiny bit larger.

I would get one of these, if you are restricting yourself to JA for settings:
http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/14k-white-gold-modern-tulip-diamond-engagement-ring-item-50671
http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/james-allen-exclusive-engagement-ring-item-49507 (specify thin claw prongs) =)
http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/designer-engagement-rings/14k-white-gold-four-prong-cathedral-arch-engagement-ring-item-7227 More modern look.
This is lovely as well: http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/side-stones/14k-white-gold-tapered-baguette-diamond-engagement-ring-item-7101 And would look great. specify claw prongs.

If you aren't limiting yourself to JA, I recommend one of these:
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/classic-truth-solitaire-18k-white-gold-5369w18
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/classic-style-half-round-18k-white-gold-5478w18
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/tapered-classic-style-half-round-18k-white-gold-5540w18
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/novela-platinum-5517p
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/elegance-18k-white-gold-5415w18ec

And just because, I can throw this out there. If you got the SI1 stone I posted for you. http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.01-carat-h-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-913858
You could get this amazing settings instead:
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/three-stone/molly-18k-white-gold-5968w18

Put that stone on hold. We have serious lurkers who will snatch stones faster than you'd believe.
