Help me choose please

I''m trying to choose among these five diamonds. Can you please take a look and give me your ratings list?

I''m leaning toward the pristine 2141787 but can''t help but notice why it is $500 less than 2231270, the latter which has a whole bunch of feathers at the 9 o''clock on the plot. Every parameter seems to be identical, is there a $500 subtlety that I''m not noticing?

I guess I would want the maximum cut grade in brilliance and fire and spread and no visible inclusions for the money?

Then VS1 is overkill, let alone VVS. An eyeclean SI is easy enough to find in these sizes.


I like #1 least, others are all fine, only 4 is H&A if that's important to you

yap, overkill in the clarity department, you are unlikely to see anything even with a 10x loupe.

all are well cut, good light return, #1 has a slightly smaller diameter because of the higher crown, probably better fire but just a guess, #4 is a H&A if that is important to you, else you are paying a premium for it.

If cut and size matter most to you and eye clean is all that matters, then drop to VS2 or even SI1 clarity.

Just a word here, if you prefer VVS clarity then stick with that, I know some feel it is "overkill" for them but it is important we take into account that others might prefer very high clarity. We can suggest lowering clarity certainly but in the end it comes down to what the buyer wants.

2, 3, 4 and 5 would be my selections, then narrow down from there according to budget and preferences. One is an ACA so it depends if you want the ACA branding and quality.
