Help me choose my size melee

I am in the ''talks'' of doing a custom whiteflash ring possibly and can''t fiqure which size melee to set into an aramis setting
--my center stone would be a RB @.8 to right under a 1 ct.

I tried on the jaffe signature series band that was a 2.2 mm and this seemed very thin so I didn''t want to go thinner than this-I was in my mind thinking of 2.3/2.4mm
BUT I wanted and asked for 2 pointers and this is impossible with this setting and keeping the band width greater than 2mm.
SO would you pick .025 or .03 or .035 with my center stone size? Whiteflash rep said I would have to get atleast a .03 to stay above 2mm but I have seem some other post with the aramis setting and people say there ring @2.3 with 2 pointers?? I''m confused-please give me some help!

jmho- i would go no more than 3pointer,, because of your diamond size... in fact I vote 2 pointer even, your diamond would "pop" more so to speak...

ohh--D&T-great idea on a shout to star sparkle--I''m pretty sure her''s were .02 from her information she posted prior but Whiteflash keeps telling me that''s impossible and the band would be too skiny for everyday wear-hence my confusion and fustration

I actually agree with you I really wanted the 2 pointers to keep my center stone the focus...
