These four diamonds fit perfectly into my ~15k budget. I'm not an expert, but I've learned more of the basics.

Please recommend what you think is best:

1.61 F SI1

1.59 F SI1

1.59 G SI1

1.53 D SI1

Thank you! Hopefully, I'll be making a purchase soon! :)

The link to the 1.61 didn''t work for me. Between the other three I would choose the G S11. i think it was the best clarity wise, and I think G is very white. You can''t go wrong with GOG though!

I'm not too fond of the depth on the first and fourth stones. I prefer them less deep. I wasn't able to look at the third stone's Sarin because I didn't want to download the .exe file at work. Do you have an image of it?

First link should be working now. I''ll try to download the exe and get the Sarin.

I could not see the Sarin or AGS report for three, and thought one and four were not to my taste. So I guess that leaves you with the 1.59 SI1. Just out of curiosity how did you come down to these four stones?
I am going to post a few others that are with in your price range and that I think might be worth considering.
1.62 F SI1 7.55-7.57x4.64 From Winfield''s $14,799
1.57 G SI1 7.57-7.58x4.59 From WhiteFlash $11,503
and this one could be depending on the inclusions 1.63 G SI1 7.57*7.62*4.66 from James Allen $12,379

Since I purchased the setting from GOG, I used their list of diamonds in stock to narrow it down to these 4. Plus I need something within the 1.40-1.60 range because the setting is being made currently without the actual diamond.

Also, how noticable is a G from a F?

Unless you have hawk eyes, you will certainly not see a difference face-up from the top. And from the pavilion, there will be only a barely noticeable difference. Most people cannot see a difference between one color grade. I definitely can't.

Thanks. Any other recommendations?

Looks like I''ve narrowed it down to these two:

1.59 F SI1

1.59 G SI1

Please help me decide! So I won''t be able to tell the difference at all between the F and G?

If you put two equal diamonds side by side, upside down on a white background you **might** be able to see the difference. But who is ever going to see your diamond in that manner? Face up I seriously doubt anyone could tell. Plus I like the clarity of the stone better. A diamond is a whole lot more than it's color, and I personally think the "g" is the better package. But then, I personally prefer "g" stones because they look more real to me. D's and E's always look steely white in an unpleaseing manner (but that's just me) I ended up with an I though, and the only ttime I notice any color is whenI hold a CZ up to it. Even then I like my diamonds color better. Just my two cents though.

Do we know if they are both totallt eye clean?
If they are I would probably save few bucks and go with the G.
just my .02

Both are eyeclean according to the team at GOG. I'm leaning towards the G.

here's a pic they sent me of the two. The G is on the left and the F is on the right.

I vote for the G, the diameters are nearly inderntical and a G is still a very nice color.

G for me!

Another vote here for the G, it''s gorgeous!!!!

Thanks for everyone''s input. I went with the G! :) Now it''s all about the waiting game.
