So I bought a ring a few years ago and...well...the wedding never happened. But fear not! I am with the best person I could ever hope for and do not wish to give her the cursed ring lol. Last time I kind of regretted my purchase because I didn't check with the pros here first, so that's what I'm doing now.
Here's a list of things that I (she) wants:
- She wants a halo band, but a very very thin ring of diamonds
- I've determined that size is more important to her than brilliance. Having said that, I still want a good quality diamond, at least to the naked eye.
- I'm willing to spend roughly $20,000 (Canadian) on a ring.
- Round cut.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance that anyone may be able to offer. I spent roughly $7600 USD on the last ring and will be able to recover at least a portion of that in resale.
