Help me choose a Diamond for Tacori Setting

So I've narrowed down my search to the following diamond:

I will be setting in the Tacori 2502 setting:

I'd love to hear your opinion on this diamond. My girlfriend is really set on a 1.5ct ring, however it seems a high cut rb is outside of my budget. Would you opt on going for lower cut 1.5 or stick with the smaller h&a ?

That is a great stone! I think that is a nice size stone, but will she be expecting a 1.5? I wouldn't settle for a lesser cut, but how would she feel about going down in color?

beautiful stone. I wouldn't go up size just to have a worse cut or etc. the color and clarity (assume it's eye clean) is a very good balance

i'm hesitant to go down in color. i've read that I has a yellow tint. and with the halo setting i'm afraid the halo and diamond may not blend in well?

I think you have a great choice, a nice balance of the four Cs. especially since it is a halo the 1.3 will not look too different from the 1.5. is her heart set on the 1.5? you know her priorities best...

I bought an Tacori engagement ring for my wife last year with very similar diamond specs.

The pave crown around the center mount really enhence the diamond size. So 1.3 carat is good enough.

I think you need to ask her about her preference on this one, her desires about compromise and her priorities could be different than yours or ours.
