Help me choose a Brian Gavin Blue!

Thanks to those that gave me advice over the last few days. My issue was that I loved a setting from Blue Nile and the diamonds at Brian Gavin, yet didn't want to pay to make a custom "copy" of a relatively cheap setting.

After speaking with both Blue Nile and Brian Gavin I believe I found the perfect solution.
Blue Nile does sell some of their settings individually but only in whole ring sizes and with no prongs. Lucky for me my GF is a size 5 so I will be shipping the setting directly to BG and buying one of their BG Blue stones.
Now the hard part... I've narrowed t down to 4 stones (all with a HCA < 2) but don't know enough to differentiate them from each other.

Would love some help from you experts (particularly with the ideal scope)!

Another vote for the same stone that DS selected - love the specs and the VSB!

Just want to make a quick comment - I know you love that BN setting - and it is attractive - but you do realize the side stones will be SI2 clarity and only "good" cut? If it were me, I'd be apprehensive that the lesser cut sidestones may visually not measure up to the quality of your center stone? Any chance BN could upgrade the melee to higher clarity and cut? (the color at I is perfect for your center stone)
 
Both of the I-VS2's look fab! the 1.227-VSB & 1.213-SB Ask BGD which they prefer.. Also I agree, make sure the melee in that setting are upgraded to higher quality stones. You need the sides to compliment that nice fiery center stone!

Oh my goodness! I am sorry I did not look at the specs of that setting! Truthfully, I would never ever want a setting with poor quality stones. You know what they say...you get what you pay for? Well, I'd rather have a basic classic setting from BG over that BN setting. And I wouldn't spend the money to have BN upgrade it, I'd spend the money to have BG make a new one with their stones. Or choose from the great selection that BG has!

I guess I was misguided by the blue nile 360 view of the setting which made the side stones look beautiful.

I will contact BN to get a quote for upgrading, or better yet, maybe I could buy the setting without any stones and have BG set them all.

I really love the setting so I hope that there is a way around this...
 
Speak to BG first and ask them how much it would be to make one. Their would be far better quality overall.
 
You will be happy you did! Brian is amazing! ..and that's a killer stone!
