Help me assess this stone?

I'm looking for a lighter purple or lavender spinel and this one meets my requirements for size, price etc. I think it's genuine, but I'm no expert. The cut looks ok as far as I can tell. Help me assess?
2.28 carats, seller has only a few ratings but they are all very positive.

I am not an expert either, but I like the color shift. One shift seems more purple and one more blue/blurple--are you happy with the blurple being the indoor color, where you are likely to be more? How do you feel about the inclusions? Are they eye visible? The drastic change in skin color between the 2 hand shots does bother me. The skin also looks sparkly? Maybe ask for a picture under low light indoors too. How is the return policy/cost to send back if you are unhappy with it in person?
Oh and I just saw--I think the middle and right middle edge have windows. Did you ask?
