Help looking for a diamond

Hello, I am planning on purchasing the classic torchiere ring for my girlfriend within the next couple weeks and was hoping someone could help me find a diamond. I have looked at both white flash and james allen and I am leaning towards James Allen because of their cheaper prices.
This is one diamond I was considering and I would appreciate some feedback or other diamond suggestions. Thanks

I would want to see the grading report for the angles, and an IS before really saying. It''s not a bad looking stone so far, though it looks a little "off" imo. Are you just wanting a nicely cut stone, or a really well cut stone?

I''m wondering though, why do you think it looks a little off? I didn''t see any red flags as far as the depth, table, or girdle. Is it the measurements? A little small for it''s size?

If you look at the actual diamond image, the table looks wonky, the middle odd, just overall not quite what I expected. Some of it "could" be the way the pics was taken, not sure though....

Personally, I wouldn''t care which vendor I bought from as long as I got what I wanted in a stone for my budget.

This is the cream of the crop, so of course it''s fiine.

I would get the nicest cut (if that''s what you want) in the largest size you can afford, from whoever has what you want. Keep in mind though, we don''t have heart pics from JA as of now, so we can''t "truly" compare.

Before making any decisions on the JA stone, like Ellen said, get the idealscope image and the full report which shows the crown and pavilion angles. It could just be a bad picture of the stone.

Now, WF has branded H&A''s. The stone you linked is gorgeous. The James Allen one may be gorgeous as well, but without the above information, no one can really say.
