help is this band two thin?

I am putting a .81 roud in a 1.75mm band 14k with small paved diamonds 3/4 around. Is that a problem structurally? I was told it was folded over and over when it was made to make it alot strong. I forget what he called it. might just be b.s. he was feeding me Any help would be appreciated.

Should be fine. Although i read somewhere that 2 mm minimum is recommended.
