like everything but the bow tie, which is the most prominent of the 3, i kinda like the fluorescence idea.

according to the gemologist, is the best performer of the three. like the minimum bow tie, just concerned about the brown tint. its the most expensive at $3970.

i like the minimum bowtie and symmetrical faceting. but least recommended of the 3.

I'd buy number three. I think it will have the best performance when set. The way gemologists look at stones with tweezers holding them up and playing with them lets in a lot of light from all around the diamond, which is not what the diamond will have access to once set. Diamond 2 has uneven and patchy performance. Stone three has even performance under the table, and is more even all over.
Number 1-- well it depends on how prominent that bowtie is in person, and unfortunately there is only one way to determine that... in person.

Can you order 1 and 3 and then return the one you don't want? I would do that if I had the ability, in your place.

Although I would like to see real images of the three based on what I am seeing here I too find number 3 to have the best potencial with the least bow tie, I also think that it has an appealing shape and facet pattern. Normally I would recommend a chunky pear like 2 here as they often have less bowties and an attractive shape but the latter is subjective and depends largely on what will be made out of it. In this case and this is an exception from me I would suggest the more elongated no 3.

OVi, the videos of each stone are posted.

Thanks Gypsy, I knew I was not really on top of the game today.:))) I will look.

Well I have to say I like the tint of 2 which to me looks peachy like it has a slight pink in it but there is no way to know whether that is the case IRL, I like the shape and very little bowtie. I think that 3 may Still be a great option for light performance, appealing shape and not too bad a bow tie, this is not as attractive for color to me but color is very personal; I like high whites and the lows from l on maybe but only OP can decide about this. I would not consider 1 bad bowtie and crushed ice bottom yeah a whiter stone but it does not matter as much as other factors relating to performance.

thanks for your input. i asked JA about putting in on hand but they said they couldn't do that. i agree, i like the way 3 looks too. this is such an overwhelming experience and i'm getting very confused. if it were in budget, i would buy the stones to look at it myself. that's why i searched the web for help. the gemologist did say the bow tie on #1 was more prominent and was still recommended over 3 which is what makes it most confusing.

Listen. They have a 60 day return policy. You have the maximum amount of information JA can give you. So that means you have to make a decision.

Make one. See the stone you pick in person. Then if it doesn't work out... hopefully one of the other two will be available.

Thanks gyspsy, you're right and thanks for reminding me. that's is really the best thing i can do. thank you everyone for the input.

We'd love to hear what you think of the stone when you have it.
