Help! I'm Squished!

I had my avatar changed to be more festive for the holidays, and when I changed it back today, I notice its all squished, making my Great Grandma's ring even longer and thinner than it is. What do I need to do to restore it? Is this something someone brilliant can help with, or is this a question for the mods? TIA

For a minute there, I thought you were physically squished. So the file size is fine? If it isn't square or is too big, it'll be skewed. Other than that, I don't know what else to do.

I resized the pic to make it square and that worked for me.

Well thank you all for your help. Now, with your interpretation of squished, I sure wish I was squished!
