I've read on various posts to just ask for help - so I'll ask for it!! I've been scouring many sites from James Allen to BGD to GOG to Whiteflash. And I am seriously going insane trying to match up my criteria to my budget. I've been referencing Lumera's criteria for ideal rounds - http://www.lumeradiamonds.com/diamond-education/round-diamonds. I'm basically looking for the biggest diamond I can find (1 carat or greater) with the following stats: F-H colour, SI1 or up, the various criteria for a very good or higher cut, etc.. I'm seriously losing my mind. Can anyone find something like this in my price range or do I need to go down in colour and clarity? It doesn't help that i just went through this exercise trying to find an emerald cut earlier...that alone turned me off as I realized that I won't ever find an EC with the clarity (VS1 or up) and carat (1.2 or up) I'd want in my price range.

Forgot to add that the neat freak in me would prefer mind clean...so VS2 or up would be preferred. But I have to be budget conscious too.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

ThAnk you!

I read in another post that your budget was up to 7K? There will be more options if you can go up to 7.

All depends on my diamond sale. But 6 is my comfort zone.

Those look great! I've never seen warmer colours in person (knowingly anyway) so guess my first step is seeing one in person.

Be sure you see stones certified by GIA or AGS.

Color grades by other labs are just going to confuse the situation. Stick with those two labs for your comparison, and you can make an educated decision from there!

That's the plan. Trying to make up for our last faulty purchase. GIA all the way!! Thanks Rocky.
