Here is the link to the GIA report: http://www.gia.edu/cs/Satellite?pagename=GST%2FDispatcher&childpagename=GIA%2FPage%2FReportCheck&c=Page&cid=1355954554547&reportno=1139342542

This will be a centre stone for an engagement ring I am putting together. Never purchased a diamond before, so it is both exciting and daunting. Just want to make sure I get my girlfriend the best that I can afford :)

This is the stone: https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/Round/GIA-Certified-1-3-Carat-I-Color-VVS2-Clarity-Diamond-TZ1FZR

Any insight is appreciated!

Numbers look promising. Should be a good looking stone, though I personally would go with lower clarity to go up in size. That is a personal choice though, and that stone should be nice.

I think you'd be better off with this one and I think pfunk would agree based on numbers and pics given. Better price, cut and weight ratio. Plus still great clarity.

In the end it was a bit out of my budget and I went with an equally nice 1.23.

Too hard to make decisions on the cut without more info like an ASET. I would likely opt for the vs1 to save the money, as they both look to be cut with pretty good optical symmetry. Also like the smaller table and what look to be a little bit shorter LGF's on the VS1.

Haha, they raised the price on it. It was $7800 this morning. I took a screengrab at work, now they jacked the price almost $2000. Does this happen often?

$7800 this morning? It is showing $7,620 when I look at it right now. Do you mean it was $5,800 this morning? If not, I'm confused.

Also, searching that GIA number shows b2c also has that stone for sale but it is slightly over $8k, so $7620 seems correct. If you are saying it was $2,000 less than that it was likely an error.

Ahhhh, when I used my phone it was set to CND $ and it was US at work. That explains what I am seeing.

They said they will get ASET and Ideal for me, I'll upload when I have those.

Sorry for the confusion all.
