I love my ering but I can''t find a wedding band to fit with it. I have attached the photo, any ideas out there?

I don''t particularly like the matching Vatche band and was hoping to get a regular unfitted band - but they don''t fit!!!

I hope that I haven''t made a mistake. A solitaire would be easier to put a band with.

Do people ever put the engagement ring on the right and wear the band on the left?

You can wear your rings anyway you want. People do practically everything.
If you like sparkle- go for a shared prong diamond setting of rounds, or channel setting of rounds. Even a real thin diamond band would be very elegant since you have such a stunner of a ring. Even a plain band.
Go to stores and try different styles on. That's always fun!!

I agree with sevens one. Wear your rings how you want to wear them, and only worry about what pleases you visually. I have a solitaire that doesn't sit flush with a wedding band and I also have short fingers. So I'm wearing my wedding band on my right hand, a concept which I am actually very excited about.

Do not fret about tradition to the extent that you can't bend the rules just a little bit to suit your ring, fingers, and taste. You're the one who needs to be happy!

Also, if it makes you feel better, I know a few girls who wear their engagement rings on their right hands.

A good friend of mine has a very similar e-ring & she got a 4 (or 5?) stone prong-set wedding band that fits great... But it sounds like straight bands aren't sitting flush with your ring, is that right? I'm having the same problem! I got a new ring & no wedding band will fit against it. I'm looking into a curved 5-stone band. Have you looked at any curved ones? Someone I work with told me to just wear my e-ring on my right hand. I think it all comes down to personal preference. If you want them together as a set, I'd say keep looking, and maybe check out getting something custom made.

Seems like you may have to get a curved band...if you want that more flush fit, but then you may not be able to wear the w-ring on it's own.

The one thing I think people overlook when they shop for e-ring settings...is the wedding ring. So many times it's hard to figure out what to put next to that beautiful engagement ring setting because you want a flush but but it won't go...or you want something unusual and it can't be found.

Not that YOU did this, fisiosweetie, but just figured I'd mention it...since it has been brought up before--and it's never fun to have problems finding a matching ring!...and maybe some e-ring shoppers will see this and note to think of both rings while shopping!

I have looked at curved 5 stone rings (similar to the Vatche matching band), but somehow they almost overwhelm the centre stone. Not what I want, ofcourse!

I might look at custom rings after all. I think that a narrow curved band might be nice - either plain, with antique style carving or with tiny scattered diamonds for some sparkle (forget what its called...)

I was hoping that a regular band would fit and then I could wear it alone if necessary. With a custom one I will probably get it fused.

Maybe I will buy a separate band anyway - hahahaha!

The more the merrier, I always say! Especially with diamonds. It sounds like you're off in the right direction. Have fun.
Mara is right about the whole w ring situation. There are so many ways to go.
