Help - Honeymoon Suggestions please

Getting married April 4th 09 and thought we had the honeymoon sewn up. We planned to go a month after the wedding to Oman, Maldives and Dubai ( bear in mind we are in the UK). However, I have been checking out the weather for Arabia at the moment and it is consistently touching 116/118f. I am a redhead with freckles and very fair (almost blue) skin and I am panicking. I know that sort of heat and high humidity will kill me and now don''t know where to go. Neither of us fancy the Far East or Africa so where else would be amazing? The Caribean is somewhere I hadn''t really considered but I wonder now? All suggestions gratefully received

Is there anything in particular you want to do on your honeymoon?

If your looking for a beach holiday The Whitsundays is beautiful and being April it will be autumn so not to hot if your from the UK .

I would say Italy or Spain, especially Barcelona. Both are lovely and not nearly as hot that time of year. I have your coloring and have been to Italy in June and August, and only got burned on one arm and only then because the airline lost our lugage so I was unable to protect myself as well. I would just get a hat and you should be fine.

I know the Canary Islands are popular, but I don''t know enough about them to be much help.

Going there for a month? Shoot me now. Not my idea of a fab honeymoon...maybe for a LITTLE bit, but that just doesn't sound like fun especially if you're already sweating the heat and you're not there yet

It really depends on what you want...I want RELAXING vacas...but I'm not going with you! Can I? haha

I'm not exactly world traveled but the most magical place I've ever been is Turks and Caicos...stayed at the Regent Palms....Ahhhhh...Really- I get weak in the knees thinking about it...Just moments of pure bliss that are burned in my brain....that for me, are few and far between..

Can you do this type of vaca often? Probably...but ohhhh, so amazing! Have a great time whatever you do! It sounds like you're the adventerous type so you might be bored out of your mind here...

Italy is lovely that time of year - also Croatia.
