Not liking the BN stone's GCAL analysis. Not up to the standard of their SI stones.

Ask for the idealscope and Hearts image for the JA stone.

Having problem accessing WF at the moment.

Given that the prices are so similar I prefer the WF ACA with more consistent cut quality and better upgrade policies.

How do you think the James Allen one, it is a 1.14 carat stone, and the biggest one in those three.

I would choose the biggest one from JA if you are positive you will never want to upgrade the stone. If you think you might ever want to upgrade, then choose the one from WF.

Frankly I don't think the ~0.2 mm difference in diameter will make much difference. I need at least 0.3 mm difference in diameter before noticing size difference outright. But it's possible that you are more sensitive. Regardless, check with JA that the stone is eye-clean and that the clouds don't affect light performance before you consider it.

ditto SC, don't love what the GCAL has to say about the BN (though as of recently their signature stones are eligible for upgrade)

WF looks nice

JA hearts look mostly fine, it's hard to tell if the issues I see are b/c of photography, too much contrast blowing things up when posting on the web, or the stone itself (uneven clefting). Nice IS. Remember JA's upgrade policy requires that you spend double, which may be limiting w/ a high-priced initial purchase

ditto thbmok, I think you'd see the size diff btwn the JA and the WF if you had them side by side, but from afar or from memory I sincerely doubt you'd remember it, unless you're one of the few that has an eye for these things.. I would make the choice btwn the WF & the JA by which setting you prefer, vendor policies better suited to your needs, pricepoint..

The WF ACA looks great to me.

The JA Aset image in the AGS cert is a little wonky, but it's a pretty small picture. I assume JA is getting an Aset image for you? Has it been confirmed eye clean, like the WF stone?

Nothing else to really add. Well, I suppose if you were willing to go to an E color, you could get a larger stone. I can see most color differences. I'm pretty color sensitive but I can't honestly say I can perceptibly see the difference between a D and E. However, I can certainly understand the desire for a D.

Can anyone tell me why most of you prefer the stone from Whiteflash? Anything bad for the Blue nile one?
