Help: Graduated 5 stone proportions and diamond selection

I've decided to create a graduated five stone trellis ring for my RH using either BG or WF as my vendor. I have an existing transitional diamond that could serve as the second stone if I decide to use it for this project. If I go that route I have already spoke with Jewels By Grace about sourcing the additional stones and BG has confirmed that they could work with whatever stones I supplied (still waiting to hear back from WF). At this point I'm trying to understand if it's worth the extra headache to try and source matching stones or just start fresh and work solely through one vendor. If I don't use my stone for this project I'm confident I will find another purpose for it.

If I take the approach of all new stones I'm looking at a center stone less than 1 ct with side stones decreasing from there. BG supplied me with a few options with only one of them really being within my budget. The setting in platium with 2X 0.15 side stones is $2820 with the recommended center and side stones below.

Questions:
Should I be concerned with the color of the center stone? Do you think this stone is a good one?
If I stick with this center stone should I decrease the size of the side stones from 0.31 to more like 0.25?
Do you think creating this style of ring will work just as well with smaller stones? My one concern is the prongs on the center stone and I'm thinking 6 prongs may be too much on a smaller center stone?

I don't even think you have to use a .70 for your center stone and still have a significant band. You can do 50-30-20 or 40-30-15 easily.

Honestly, I would only use the transitional if you are going to have Grace find you the rest of the set of transitionals. I would go with all ideal cut stones because I think they will be far easier to match.

I would prefer that all the stones have the same color.

The other option is to stick with the larger center in the BD three stone crossed trellis ring.

I've decided not to use my transitional stone for this project and save it for something else in the future.

I think you have to decide if you want old cuts or branded round brilliants. What do you think you would enjoy looking at more?
Since you dont seem set on old stones, I would suggest going with branded round brilliant. It seems people who want old cuts
usually know they want old cuts and nothing else will do.

Then you need to decide if you want graduated or not. I like a slightly graduated to the center stone where they all sort of
fit the pattern. The one setting you pointed out has a much bigger center stone which is not my favorite ( of course this
is about what you like and what you want to see).

I figured using my old stone would help save me $$ and it has sentimental value. That said, I'm not sure it would save me much and it would be better used in a different piece that didn't require matching stones (ie pendant).

Im moving forward with a five stone trellis ring but I'm undecided if I want it to be graduated or have all the same size stones. If I do a graduated piece I would consider something like 0.60, 0.30, 0.15 while I would do 0.30 for the same size. I'm a size five and would like to wear the ring on my RH but also on my left when I don't wear my ering.

I feel like a five stone band with all the same size stones is more classic while the graduated look adds a little bit of visual interest. I do own a shared prong 3mm eternity band and I want to make sure whatever I do looks different not just bigger. If I could pair the two together that would even be better but not sure that would work.
