Ok.. I know some of you Pricescopers have to have some idea on how to help.

Here in Turks and Caicos.. we have cistern water... and the cistern just happens to be under the master bedroom, RIGHT under our bed.. Concrete walls + water halfway up the walls = HORRIBLE echo of croaking frogs.

Weeks ago.. we started hearing these really weird sounds and well.. turns out 6 frogs had gotten into the cistern. Well...we caught 2.. 1 died.. and the others disappeared... YAY... peace and quiet.

Until lastnight... 1 frog in the cistern.. and 10 (at least) of his friends surrounding our room and the porch near the cistern.. trying to get in!! HELP!!!

Its almost like they are saying "nanny nanny boo-boo... " they are seriously causing me grief... and I dont know how to get rid of them..

I know they are good to catch bugs.. but come on... I can live with some bugs if I can get my sleep at night!!! I am ready to pull my hair out...

So.. anyone know of a good remedy??? I dont really want to poison them.. but well.. I''m kinda getting desperate. Getting in the cistern isnt possible this time to catch them as there is now 2.5ft. of water in there.. and well the waders we bought are only 18inches tall.. ughhh..

Am I destined to listen to this croaking forever?? HELP!!!

You know when you think you''ve got it bad...it sometimes help to hear someone who has it worse?

Well, in my area we had a enormous amount of rainfall. Instead of ponds begin breeding grounds...the grounds were. There is not one step you can make on our grounds...3.5 acres that there isn''t a frog. And most square feet you can find 8 frogs. They are in trees, they are on our walls, they are under the house, around curbing, they are in my swimming pool. One was in my bathroom. They are in the garage and on the water spigots. When you mow you have to wait for them to hop out of your way, only to wait on the return path. Ultra mini ones and gargantuan monster ones!!

At night...they all seem to try to out do each other. I am louder, no I am...yeah, what about me!

On saving grace we have NO MISQUITOS! Not one. The little darlings are eating the blood suckers. If you are expecting a cool snap it will subdue them.

Wonder if you could lower a block of dry ice to coax them out?

Sorry to hear about the frog problem Jaders. We have them too. I did a search and found this. Guess it would be worth a try.

Oh good lord, what an awful thing to have to listen too. We have those little buggers once in a while in our yard, but not very often. I hope you find a way to get rid of them soon.

I have to admit they are cute in your pictures though.
