Help finding yellow diamond

Thank you so much! Do you think they will have more stock after valentines day? Just for the sake of my learning, what do you not like about the pear? Finding diamonds is hard lol

HI Christie,
You may be underestimating your own ability to judge a diamond.
At the end of the day, it's got to be evaluated in person, and by you. After all, you're the person it has to please- and the aspects that make any diamond attractive are subjective to some extent.
So, your eyes and taste will determine if any given stone ( radiant or otherwise) is right for you.

Wherever you purchase, make sure to get a money back guarantee so you can take the time to evaluate yourself.

Thank you for the kind words. If I could see the diamonds in person I would feel much more comfortable making a call but I have very little experience and would prefer to trust expert while I learn what good cuts are.

Is this a well cut diamond? I like the orangish color of it (and the price ;)) but worried about the dark areas near the outside. If it has a yellow gold cup under it (do they do those for pendants?) will it not have the dark areas?

Leibish added some more pictures of http://www.leibish.com/yellow-diamond/137ct-fancy-light-yellow-pear-si1-11224-6059 - are the dark areas leakage that makes it a worse choice than the cushion? Or was there something else?

Thank you all so much for your input and helping me learn.

Naturally fancy colored diamonds are normally cut for maximum color, not for ideal cut. If it is cut well, it is a plus, but don't expect it to be that way.
