hello- i have a very low set solitairre (about 1.2ct) and pretty small fingers size 4. We''re looking for wedding bands this weekend and i''d love some suggestions as to wear to start- ideally i''d like an eternity band that doesn''t overpower the stone. Any suggestions for size of the diamonds in the stone? also any suggestions as to who makes the lowest sitting bands?

THANKS!

I have 6 point stones paired with a 1.5 carat asscher (which probably faces up like your 1.2 carat RB) and sometimes I feel the 6 pointers are a bit big. I have much larger hands, which is why I went slightly larger with the stones. For a size 4 hand, I''d probably stick with 5 point stones or less. Four point stones always look dainty, yet substantial to me. Your best bet is to go to a jeweller that has a lot of eternity band options and just try on different sizes--you find what you like pretty quickly that way.

As far as bands that sit the lowest, Tiffany bands sit very low and I''ve heard that Memoire does as well--those are the two that pop up on PS as being set low. I had mine custom made to sit as low as possible from a local B&M.
