Hi,
I am new here and need help finding this Marquise Setting. I am having a local jeweler reset my Marquise solitare and I just fell in love with this setting. This photo was originally posted by FireGoddess and it says that the ring is from Whiteflash, but I am unable to find it on the Whiteflash site.

Any info on this ring (or something similar) would be so appriciated! I really like the milgrain work along the band and around the diamond.

Thanks you so much!

That ring is a custom piece from Whiteflash. Thats why you can''t find it on their website.

I also really like this East West setting for my Marquise as well..but I am unable to find any information on it. If anyone has any information on either of these ring designs or something similar, please let me know.

Thanks again!

Karen

What is it that you would like to know?

Karen,
That second one is from James Allen. It''s a Danhov design. I''m currently having my diamond reset into a Danhov design, and I"m very excited.
You might try by going through one of those particular vendors to have your ring reset. Users on this site have lots of great things to say about both Whiteflash and James Allen.

Good luck!

I have been working with my local jeweler to reset my diamond into a new ring. He told me that if I could find the origin of a setting that I liked, he can find something very similar to it from one his vendors.

Annie,
Thanks for your kind reply and for the info on the setting! The Danhov East West design is just gorgeous. I can certainly understand why you are so excited!
I met with my jeweler yesterday and he told me that he can order most any of the settings from his vendors and so now I am just trying to decide on which one. I really do like the East West style and I don''t plan to wear a separate band with the ring, so the East West style might be nice. I will check out the Danhov rings and pass on the info to my jeweler.

I know that the reviews of James Allen and Whiteflash are very good on this site, but I just feel more comfortable working with my local jeweler for the reset. I have purchased all of my jewelry from him for the last 30 years....even before there was internet! LOL

Thanks again,
Karen

Hi Karen,

I hope it works out and that you can get a setting you LOVE.

Just FYI, I asked about buying a setting alone, and having a local jeweler reset my stone (because like you, I felft uncomfortable with the process,) but actually they don''t do that.

I bought the setting through James Allen, but shipped my stone to Danhov to have it reset there. Their designers will set your stone
into their settings. Once I got over the" shipping-my-stone-jitters" (and this site really helped me with that,) I fet fine. I''m also glad to have the actual makers of the setting set my stone, seems like they would have to do a class-A job. So, if you''re really in love with that setting, you might have to rethink your strategy.

Best of luck!

Annie
