Help finding the perfect engagement ring

I am new to Pricescope.com, so hello to everyone and thank you in advance for any help you provide. I am planning on proposing to my better half and am in the process of looking at diamonds/engagement rings and the process is daunting with all the information out there. I have read quite a few posts here, and thought the feedback given was extremely helpful. To that end, I know she likes pear or round center stones set in a rose gold halo with diamonds on the band. I believe she is a size 6.5. Any diamonds/settings/rings you could point me to would be greatly appreciate. My budget is approximately $6,000.

Someone will DEFINITELY be asking for more specifics, but I'm going to try to give you a few options, to get you started.

I can't imagine a setting like you describe being less than $1k or $1,500 (I will let others who know MUCH more about settings give you some advice here), so I'm going to use that as the basis for the stone budget.

It is much more difficult to choose a pear, so I'm going to give you options related to rounds.

I would contact Good Old Gold. They carry Gabriel settings, which are a nice choice for you.

It is much easier to pick a round than a pear. There are standards for what constitutes an ideal round, but no such standard exists for pears. Pears will naturally (because of their shape and facet structure) have a different kind of appearance - they will often have a bowtie (it's hard to find one that doesn't), can look mushy at the point, etc.

Good Old Gold are masters of finding beautiful fancy shapes, and they have or can get ideal cut rounds in whatever price range you need. If you are serious about pears I'd contact them directly. They will get several stones for you, evaluate them, and even make a video!

FYI - The H stone from BGD that I had linked above has already sold.

I'd suggest checking out the GOG stone I had linked, with some of the settings the other posters had mentioned.
