Hello there, PSers. We are looking for your advice regarding finding a vendor to help us find or design a 20th anniversary ring. We have a fairly good idea of what we think we want the ring to look like and have searched local jewelers, Jewelers Row in Philly, and many many sites on the internet. But it seems as though we may have to have someone custom make the ring. So, in your opinion, who would you recommend for that? We are trying to find a white gold or platinum band with baguettes. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

here are a couple of sites, that sometimes jewelers don''t necessarily need to go custom. Check it out. use your imagination picture diamonds in them. the jeweler would then just order the cast, so long as the diamonds specification you are looking for fits into the mountings. Tons of ideas. maybe yours might be in one of these. But for custom, I highly recommend Whiteflash.com or brian gavin diamonds to do custom work.

also can you be more specific on your baguette band? all baguettes? channels? bar set? bezels? combination with other stones? maybe other PSsprs will have other ideas

D&T--thanks for those ideas. I''ll check them out. I''m thinking 8 - 9 mm wide, channel set, a row of vertical baguettes down the center but only going maybe 50% around the ring, no bars, and definitely not mixing it with other shapes of stones. A rather simple setting showing a lot of metal as well as the diamonds. Someone today said I should consider a crisscut diamond (?) but I''m not familiar with that. What do you think? Anyone in particular at White Flash?

Thanks again!

baguettes tends to be less sparkly due to the number of facets they have - my "sparkle" term maybe incorrect but I''m sure you know what i mean

. I thought about the baguettes myself but if you want more fire and brillance, then maybe think about a different diamond cut. However, this is your ring, and you must wear and love it and if it means baguettes, then you should get it. You can talk to anyone at Whiteflash they are all super wonderful people. I''ve worked with Traci there myself on more than a few projects.
