Hello friendly pricescopers! My friend is looking for an engagement ring for his girlfriend. He knows next to nothing about jewelry, so of course I offered to help! I'm planning on stopping in at my favorite local jeweler for some ideas, but figured it can't hurt to ask the true experts here on pricescope!

She would like a 3 stone princess cut with pave along the sides (specifically requested no channel set). I figure this should be fairly easy to find with his budget of 5k. He doesn't know much about specs, so I figure typical pricescope standards or even a bit looser would be good. Definitely looking for a great cut as a top priority, eye clean, near colorless, and as big as we can get within his budget but still with a nice quality stone. White gold preferred.

So, pricescopers, any help?

A thee stone with pave is surprisingly more expensive than just a 3 stone. Ballercaller recently made a beautiful one with rounds from wf but his budget was a little higher. Would she be willing to get a plain 3 stone and just wear a diamond band with it?

I can't tell if the side princesses are included with the price, but if so, this is nice.

Or

I would contact Whiteflash she if they could do baller callers setting with princess sides for 2500

Wow, Thanks for the speedy reply Niel! I had been looking at that one from James Allen as well. I'm hopefully going to the local jeweler today and then will let my friend know of the different options. Thanks again and if anyone else has any good ideas, please feel free to chime in!
