Hi all!

Long time reader, first time poster!

My partner and I are currently starting the ring hunt, and we’ve found an amazing jewellery store in Hatton Garden, London (where we currently live)
We’ve been looking on their site and reading up about them, and are thinking that we might go for the following specs;

Shape: Round Brilliant (a little open to Princess, but only if one looks really stunning!)
Cut: Excellent
Colour: H (or greater if we find a better colour for same price)
Clarify: Happy with an SI1
Fluro: None
Cert: Happy with anything other than EGL Int.
Budget (including VAT/Tax): £4000

I have seen sites, like James Allen, and although they have amazing stones etc online, because of import tax etc, its more beneficial for us to purchase something over here and claim the tax back when leaving the country.

Anyway, this store has suggested this diamond and I wanted to get an opinion from some of you knowledge people here! As far as I know, they do not have Idealscope pics.

Should I be worried about the Fluro? The site I visit is called www.77diamonds.com

Thanks for any help! Much appreciated!

Do they have the stone physically in their possession or are they a drop shipper?

Hi Gypsy

I believe they can order it in - I'm hoping to find a few (about 3) for when we go in, so that we have a better choice of making a decision!

I'd would by an idealscope. They are like 25 bucks.

Um thanks - so no feedback on any of the stats that I posted then?

Plugging the numbers into the HCA tool (under the tools tab above) gives a score of 3.4. Most Pricescopers don't recommend buying a round brilliant with an HCA score of above 2.
