Help finding a setting similar to this:

I love this setting, but at Mark Broumand they don't offer just the setting. This is my 1st time posting, so please excuse whatever mistakes I'm about to make....

I prefer either white or rose gold. I love the way the under basket curves outward, but that may only be possible with gigantic 3+ct. rocks, I'm not sure. It would be for around a 1.5 to 2.5ct. stone, but for now, I'm only interested in finding settings similar to this...

I love that overall shape. I don't know what it's called or even if it has a specific name. I prefer white gold, but I think the rose shows off the accents better which is why I included pics of both.

There are many designers who can do a custom setting for you to look like that. However, I have a concern about the durability of that setting. The circle at the bottom of the halo (shown in the last picture you posted in your second post) is used to help keep the halo secured to the shank. The way the head only had one area where the halo meets the shank seems easy to damage.

I dont k ow your budget, but brilliantly engaged, Steven kirsch, victor Canera , and maytal Hannah could do it nicely.

What is your budget for the setting? A custom setting will run $4k+. If its in the budget they can do what you want.

Brilliantly Engaged does a version which will be good quality but wont cost as much as Victor Canera.

Mark Broumand will make a custom setting for a diamond that you supply. He made a setting for me. Are you asking about a stock setting and not custom?

Thank you all. Yes, I was also concerned about how well the 1st setting would hold up to everyday wear. I love the daintiness, but it appears barely attached to the shank.

Around $4k is feasible for the budget. I really like Brilliantly Engaged's selection! I had not come across theirs yet.

Lookinagain: so Mark Broumand will do custom settings provided you supply the stone?? I will look into that as well.

I was just hoping to get a general idea of where to look. Is there a particular name for that style setting? obviously I haven't learned how to "quote" previous posters yet so I do apologize for that. I appreciate the input!
