First of all, this is a great site and I have been reading around it for a few months now. I find information provided here really useful for noobs like me.
My girlfriend wants a Tiffany's ring and after a lengthy discussion, I finally agreed to get the ring from Tiffany's. I know I am going to end up paying some extra for the blue box but I want to make sure that I can get the good diamond for the money I am paying. Ultimately, I want her to be happy as she has to wear the ring for the rest of her life.
After looking at a few diamonds, decided to buy on the following diamond because it has triple excellent Tiffany rating. I looked at HCA for the diamond after I get proportions and it came back with HCA of 2.0. Also, my research tells me that this diamond may be too deep. So, I asked the Sales Associate to find me another diamond and he was able to come up with one more option.
Between the two diamonds below, can you please tell me which one you think is better? Diamond 2 is a bit more expensive as clarity is better but still within my budget.
