I feel as if my search has been leading me to dead ends. I am so close to purchasing a stone! I just want to have a diamond for my girlfriend''s engagement ring by the end of this month...but I don''t want to rush. This is such an important decision.

There are 2 stones I am seriously considering buying. I posted diamond #1 on an earlier post today. Thank you to those who responded. Your help/feedback will, again, be greatly appreciated.

This diamond #2:

AGS Cert.`

Carat weight: 0.96

Cut: Ideal

Color: H

Clarity: VVS2

Depth %: 61.3%

Table %: 56.7%

Symmetry: Ideal

Polish: Ideal

Crown: 34.8°

Pavilion: 41.2

Culet: pointed

Fluorescence: ***Medium Blue***

Measurements: 6.37-6.40 x 3.92 mm

Would the medium blue fluorescence be detrimental to the diamond? Or would it enhance the stones color because of it''s "H" color grade? Would the white gold Simon G pave setting (photograph below) have an effect on the diamond or vice versa?

Here are photos of the diamond:

It looks like a very nice diamond, it is already set in one setting and you want to put it into another? Medium blue fluorescence is fine, you might notice it in some sunlight as a pretty bluish glow and it could be beneficial to the H colour.

Lorelei, I will only purchase the diamond. Thanks for the feedback!

Will a color H stone appear more yellowish on a white gold setting?

I think actually it will enhance the whiteness, from the light reflected off the white metal.

You are welcome! An H colour will still look very white in WG, no worries there! Who is selling the diamond, is it an online vendor?

Lorelei, I apologize for the delayed response. Life has been hectic with a move back to my home office. I''ve had no time to catch up on things on PS. I actually decided to past on the diamond. It was being sold on ebay by someone. The seller had great feedback (100%). There was no return policy which did not give me peace of mind. The seller said my lack of feedback on my end was the reason (though I have perfect ratings).

I am currently looking at GOG and WF.

Can you (or anyone) recommend a representative to speak to?

Much thanks.

At GOG I would give Jonathan a call. He is a pleasure to work with and will bend over backwards to assist you in finding what you want. He also has a fantastic lab to help you with your selection and you will truly be getting an incredible diamond when all is said and done. Good luck with you search.
