Help choosing between two diamonds and their HCA scores.

Hello there,

I am just about to purchase a lab diamond for my girlfriend, and had trouble choosing between two diamonds to be set in an engagement ring and wanted some opinions.

One has an HCA score of 0.8 and the other of 2.1. Im leaning to the one that scores 0.8, but Ive read that sometimes diamonds that score under 1 aren't ideal for rings.

Here are the listings for the stones:

Option 1 - 1.62 - 0.8 HCA Score

Option 2 - 1.63 - 2.1 HCA Score

Also here are the respective HCA scores:



Any suggestions on which way you would go?

I would suggest moving this thread to lab diamonds. You might get more traffic there.
