Help choosing an Oval (with links)

Wow! So many people looking for ovals right now! As you probably already know, ovals are very difficult to evaluate. I have a hard
time when there is no video/aset image but I will give you *my* opinion on what I see in the stones below.

Hi everyone,
needing some help choosing an oval out of these! it's so difficult trying to make sense of the ASET images, so if anyone could kindly help, that'd be really great!! :)

Lovely shape and doesnt look like it has a leaky bow-tie. Has possibilities...a video would be great.

I really need a video. I just can tell enough about this one to have an opinion. It's not bad but I just can
say how good it is either.

This one looks pretty good to me. The faceting pattern is not exactly what I like it but it looks like a pretty stone with decent
light return.

Not liking this one. Looks like it has a white bow-tie but the rest of the stone looks leakier than usual. I hate how they spin
some stones N/S and other stones E/W. I wonder why they are doing it differently (or is it just at a different vendor/cutter).

This stone looks interesting but without a video I cant really say much. It has 2 dark areas in the bow-tie area that I worry about.

Thank you so much!

I posted this in another thread. This is what *I* like my ovals to look like. You can sort of see a star shape pattern in the middle
of the stone as you turn it back and forth. There is a nice faceting pattern transition between the middle area of the stone out
towards the end. It doesn't go straight from big fat facets to lots of tiny facets...sort of feathers its way out. Then a nice outside
shape to the stone. I dont like them long and skinny but that's a personal preference.

I will take a look at ED to see if any of the other diamonds in the same specs look nice.

I'm certainly no expert.. I'm really in the same spot as you with trying to learn about these ovals!

But from what I've learned, mostly on here, your best option is probably the first but it's even going to be hard buying a diamond based on pictures and ASETS. I'm sure everyone will tell you that you really need to see it in person and in different types of light.
Stay away from anything that has a lot of white(leakage). And of course be careful of the bow tie are... Definitely don't want blue in that area! Even a bright white bow tie may bug you... so again if at all possible see it in person.

Good luck and hopefully someone who is more experiences with purchasing ovals will chime in!

Here are some others I thought might be worth looking into...

https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/O108-N5L7UL this has something on the video but I dont see it on the other
images and it is a VS1 stone so not sure what that thing is. You would need to request the certificate to find out what it is
and if it's visible.

https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/O110-D9EU24 hate the video but it looks like it might be a nice stone.
Would need to get more of an opinion from ED.
