Budget only allows for one band at the moment, and unfortunately I haven't been able to try on either of these bands in person. My e-ring is a plain 6-prong solitaire. Which would you choose?

I like the look of the second one. You may have to try them with your ring to see how they complement your existing ring.

Photo of your ring? Just coz I I like to look at bling!! I like both rings but prefer the first one.

Which one is closer in width to your other band?

I like the second one. In fact, I have something very similar that I stack with a band of rounds just like yours. The marquise add variety, instead of all rounds in every ring.

That's a good point. Do you have a photo of your stack?

They are the same as my wedding band, all around 2.4mm.

I think I like the second one as the marquis are unique and break up the rounds.

I like the first one. Reminds me of a CVB band.

Yeah, even though I'm leaning towards the other one for the variety in shapes, I keep going back to look at this one. The scalloped aspect of it is a little more fluid than the second band.

I like the first one. I prefer the continuity of all scallops to better contrast and compliment your existing band, imo.

Yes, I think the continuity of the scallops is what's lending itself to the fluidity that I'm seeing.

The first one has a more vintage vibe to it; whereas, the marquise dot ring is more contemporary. Which styles do you usually prefer? (Or get both ...)

Well that explains why i like the first one

I like the first one. I had a band like the second one but for some reason didn’t look great with my set.

@ringo865 and @Daisys and Diamonds yes, that explains why I was drawn to the first one too. Although I did think the milgrain on the second one made it more vintage-y.

@Morenita21 do you have any photos of your set from when you had the marquise dot band?

Ok, I found it but I just noticed that it’s not a marquise diamond - but the shape is the same so you get the idea:

Also, this my favorite band and I always wear it - I think because it has a vintage feel to it:

@Morenita21 thanks for sharing all these photos! This is super helpful. I actually really love all your stacks, and I can see why that one band is your favorite.

If it were me I would choose the first one, but they are both very pretty!

I like how @Morenita21 putthe different shaped band in the middle.

IMHO the first one is more unique and a solitaire might wedge in nicely by the indents.
