Need any advice/feedback on which diamond to choose based on the cut and cost (or whether to choose either of them at all). Thanks!!!!

Option #1
1.10
I
SI1 (Eye Clean)
Depth 60.6
Table 56
Crown 34.8
Pavilion 40.7
HCA 1 (ex/ex/ex/vg)
Measurements 6.71x6.73x4.07

Option #2
1.11
I
SI1 (Eye Clean)
Depth 61.6
Table 56
Crown 35
Pavilion 40.6
HCA 0.8 (ex/ex/ex/vg)
Measurments 6.66x6.69x4.10

Sorry, costs are below...

Option #1 = $5,426
Option #2 = $5,476

I will choose #1. Regarding the measurements, the first one will look bigger than the second one, even though they are both 1.1 ct. I like the numbers for the first stone better, even though it's scored 1 on HCA instead of 0.8, But there is no big difference I guess.

Those could be ideal side stones! At no mater what proximity, once could probably never tell a difference between them... Do you have a two-sided dice?

Girdle? Symmetry? Fluorescence? Hard choice....

The difference appears to be minimal.

I think I'd pick #1 because it's slightly cheaper and has a bigger diameter, even though it weighs less.

Request info on both. Check out the inclusions in both. Get an Ideal Scope on both if you can. Generally, look at every detail on each one. One may be cleaner than the other, have less light leakage, any number of reasons one could be a better choice than the other. Both are comparably priced and the HCA indicates both should be good performers, so the information you need to make a decision will be in the finer details.

Wow! Thank you for the quick responses -- much appreciated. Here is the additional info. requested above --

Option #1
Girdle Thin to Medium, Faceted (0.9-1.5% on AGS cert.)
Symmetry AGS Ideal
Polish AGS Ideal
Fluorescence AGS Negligible

Option #2
Girdle Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted (1.2-2.0% on AGS cert.)
Symmetry AGS Ideal
Polish AGS Ideal
Fluorescence AGS Negligible

Any new opinions based on this?

I'd pick #1 for all the reasons stated previously.....shows its weight better.

I'd get detailed info on the inclusions, and if both are comparable and ok, I'd pick #1. Otherwise I'd go with the one with the better inclusions if it is acceptable.

I'm with lop, I'd let the nature and size of the inclusions be the tiebraker if peeping at them both side by side isn't an option. Get some magnified pics and see what you're getting!

Looks like #1 is moving out in front. The certificates for each have photomicrographs, but I don't know what to make of these. The photomicrograph of #2 looks to me like it's more defined, but I'm clueless if this means anything at all. Any thoughts?

Contact the vendor(s), and ask them for more details about the inclusions. Ask what type they are, what color, and where. Ask if any reach the surface of the diamond, and what the "grade making" inclusion(s) are. Ask if they can email you magnified pictures of the inclusions, and in general, ask their opinion -- they are more experiences evaluating inclusions than you are.

Good luck!

Anybody find out anything more on these photomicrographs? It's my understanding they're simply 50x magnification photos. Should I use these photos in my comparison and, if so, what clues should I look for in them?

You can post the pictures here, so that we can give you further opinions
