Hello everyone!

I am looking for roughly 2.4-2.5ctw round studs.

Im not sure what most people prefer in regards to color on earrings, but i do know i don't need G-H-I stones.

I have attached links to two different pairs, can you guys give me your opinion and any better option if you know of one? The BGD are AGS000 but i don't know if its that important to have that type of cut on earrings?

Thanks!!

Anyone with any opinion? Thank you :wavey:

Cut is the most immportant aspect earrings for the sparkliness. My stones are exactly 2.41 tcw....Although they are EGL international certified F color si1 I believe they are really J color and they look beautifully white.

Only you can decide of the L bother you or not. the AGS ideal are ideal cut stones so if the color works for you than I like that pair.

Hello, thanks for your responses. I can safely assume the L stones will not face white am I corrext?

I found a couple stones on b2c that are I si2 but of course aren't ags000. All opinions and experiences welcome :)

HI:

The corollary is that ideally cut stones will face up whiter than poorly cut stones of the same color grade. But will they be colorless or "white"? I think color may be noticeable from the side--but who would be looking from the side at your earrings? Or that close?

I have had J colored diamonds; Ideally cut diamonds ( H & A also) in earrings and they appeared "white". Both my sisters have J colored ideally cut diamond earrings and they are wonderful. I have no experience with L colored diamonds for earrings. But I would not hesitate to buy H & A, VS1, AGS000, L colored diamonds for earrings--the color helps the price point and they would be great sparklers. Awesome size.

That said, a case can be made for buying ideally cut, SI2 diamonds of higher color. Again, with the clarity bringing down the price point, you can still benefit from getting sparkly earrings, and no one will notice the inclusions since viewers are usually not close enough to ears for such scrutiny. And the setting helps or inclusions can be prongable.

Only you can know what you can tolerate. Which do you value more--color or clarity? Regardless, which ever you decide, do not sacrifice on cut. That will be the key.

Incidentally, try calling ID jewellery. They might be able to find you something sweet.

cheers--Sharon
